Shipping Policy

Shipping Policy

We make personalized products to order. Understanding the difference between artwork approval, production, and shipping helps you know what to expect from the time you place your order until it arrives.

1. How Print Nexus Shipping Works

Print Nexus uses a made-to-order fulfillment model for personalized products. After you place an order, the order may need to go through artwork preparation and approval before it can enter production.

01

Order Placed

Your order and personalization information are received and reviewed.

02

Artwork Approved

When artwork approval is required, production waits for your approval.

03

Production

The approved order is released to a suitable production facility.

04

Shipment

After production, the finished order is prepared for carrier shipment and tracking may become available.

Important: For personalized orders requiring artwork approval, production and applicable fulfillment timeframes begin after the artwork has been approved and the order is released for production.

2. Production Time and Shipping Time Are Different

Production time and shipping time are separate parts of the fulfillment process.

Production Time

Production time is the time required to prepare and manufacture your product after the order has been released for production.

Shipping Time

Shipping time is the carrier transit period after the order has been completed and dispatched.

Your total order timeframe may therefore include both production time and shipping time.

3. Artwork Approval and Shipping Time

Some personalized products require an artwork proof before production. In these cases, your order will remain on hold while we wait for the required approval.

There is no automatic approval deadline. Your order may remain on hold until the required approval is received.

Time spent waiting for customer feedback, requested revisions, missing information, or final artwork approval is not counted as production or carrier transit time.

Please keep this in mind when reviewing delivery estimates: The estimated production and fulfillment timeframe for a personalized order begins after the required artwork approval, not necessarily on the date the original order was placed.

4. Production Facilities

Print Nexus works with a network of professional printing and production facilities across the United States.

The facility used for an individual order may vary based on factors such as:

  • Product type
  • Customization requirements
  • Production availability
  • Order quantity
  • Artwork requirements
  • Destination
  • Fulfillment considerations

As a result, two different orders for similar products may not necessarily be produced or shipped from the same location.

5. Production Timeframes

Production time can vary depending on the product and order requirements. Factors that may affect production include:

  • Product type
  • Quantity ordered
  • Degree of personalization
  • Artwork preparation requirements
  • Artwork approval status
  • Production availability
  • Seasonal or peak-period demand
  • Other order-specific requirements

Where a production estimate is provided on a product page, cart, checkout, or order communication, that estimate is intended as a planning estimate and may vary based on the circumstances of the order.

6. Shipping Timeframes

Carrier transit times can vary according to the shipping method, destination, carrier operations, weather, holidays, peak periods, transportation conditions, and other circumstances.

A shipping estimate should therefore be understood as an estimated transit period rather than a guarantee of delivery on a particular date, unless an express written commitment specifically states otherwise.

The time required for production is separate from carrier transit time.

7. Order Tracking

When tracking information is available, it may be provided through your order or shipping communication.

Tracking information may not immediately show movement after a shipping label has been created. Carrier systems may require time to receive and scan the package.

Once a package is in the carrier's possession, tracking information is generally maintained through the applicable carrier system.

8. Multiple Shipments

Items from the same order may sometimes be shipped separately.

This can occur when products have different production requirements, become ready at different times, are fulfilled through different production locations, or require separate shipping arrangements.

If an order is divided into multiple shipments, you may receive separate tracking information for the individual packages when available.

9. Shipping Address Responsibility

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address during checkout.

Before submitting your order, carefully check:

  • Recipient name
  • Street address
  • Apartment, suite, or unit number
  • City
  • State or region
  • ZIP or postal code
  • Country, where applicable

If you discover an error after placing your order, contact Print Nexus immediately. We will review whether the address can still be changed based on the current order status.

Important: Once an order has entered production or has been shipped, changing the shipping address may no longer be possible.

10. Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses

If a package cannot be delivered because the shipping address provided by the customer was incorrect, incomplete, or otherwise insufficient, additional shipping costs or re-shipping arrangements may apply where applicable.

If a package is returned to the fulfillment or shipping network because of an address issue, contact us so we can review the available options.

11. Failed Delivery or Returned Packages

A shipment may be returned when delivery cannot be completed because of an incorrect address, insufficient address information, repeated failed delivery attempts, refusal of delivery, or another carrier-related circumstance.

If your package is returned, please contact us. Depending on the circumstances, additional shipping charges may apply before the order can be shipped again.

Personalized products may require special handling because they were produced specifically for the original order.

12. Damaged Packages

If your package arrives damaged, inspect the product as soon as reasonably possible.

If the product is damaged, contact us promptly and provide:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the damage
  • Photos of the product
  • Photos of the outer packaging when available
  • Any other information that may help us investigate

We will review the issue and determine the appropriate next step under our applicable policies.

13. Lost or Significantly Delayed Shipments

Carrier delays can occur for reasons including weather, transportation disruptions, operational issues, peak shipping periods, holidays, regional events, or other circumstances outside Print Nexus's direct control.

If tracking indicates that your shipment is significantly delayed or appears to have stopped moving, contact us so we can review the available information and determine whether additional action is appropriate.

Depending on the circumstances, we may need to coordinate with the applicable carrier or fulfillment partner before a shipment can be considered lost or another resolution can be determined.

14. Carrier Delays

Once a package has been transferred to a carrier, the carrier controls the physical transportation and delivery process.

Estimated carrier transit times can be affected by circumstances outside Print Nexus's control, including:

  • Severe weather
  • Natural events
  • Transportation disruptions
  • Carrier network congestion
  • Holiday and peak-season volume
  • Address verification or delivery issues
  • Regional service interruptions
  • Other unforeseen operational circumstances

15. Holidays and Peak Periods

Orders placed during holidays, promotional periods, seasonal peaks, or periods of unusually high demand may require additional production or shipping time.

When planning an order for an important date or event, we recommend allowing sufficient additional time for artwork approval, production, carrier transit, and unexpected delays.

16. Customer Responsibilities

Customers can help prevent avoidable delays by:

  • Providing accurate personalization information.
  • Responding to artwork proof requests.
  • Approving artwork promptly when ready.
  • Carefully checking the final proof before approval.
  • Providing a complete and accurate shipping address.
  • Monitoring available tracking information.
  • Contacting Print Nexus promptly when an issue is discovered.

Delays caused by missing information, pending customer approval, requested revisions, or incorrect shipping details may affect the overall time required to complete and deliver an order.

17. International Shipping

Where international shipping is offered for a particular product, additional considerations may apply.

International shipments may be affected by customs procedures, destination-country requirements, taxes, duties, import charges, inspections, carrier operations, and other circumstances outside Print Nexus's direct control.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate international shipping information and, where applicable, complying with destination-country import requirements.

Availability of international shipping may vary by product and destination.

18. Delivery Estimates

Any production or delivery estimate provided by Print Nexus is intended to help customers plan their orders.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, an estimated delivery timeframe is not a guarantee of arrival on a specific date.

For personalized orders requiring artwork approval, the applicable timeframe begins after approval and release to production.

Planning for an important date? We recommend ordering early enough to allow time for artwork review, customer approval, production, shipping, and unexpected carrier or operational delays.

19. Shipping and Our Return & Refund Policy

Shipping issues, damaged products, incorrect orders, cancellations, and refund requests may be subject to the applicable terms of our Return & Refund Policy.

If you experience a problem with an order, please contact us promptly so that we can review the specific circumstances.

20. Policy Changes

Print Nexus may update this Shipping Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our products, fulfillment processes, shipping arrangements, carriers, or applicable requirements.

The version published on this page represents the current Shipping Policy.
